Sandals Royal Curacao recently welcomed its first guests and officially became the 16th Sandals resort in the chain of luxury properties in the Caribbean. The resort, which is the latest addition to the Sandals family, is the first Luxury Included brand in the Dutch Caribbean. Executive Chairman, Adam Stewart explained that the vision for the resort was inspired by Curacao’s natural beauty, colourful culture, guests of the resorts, and the activities and attractions available for visitors.

The resort is located on the exclusive Santa Barbara estate, which is close to the Curacao International Airport. It is in the south of the island and faces the west, thus making it one of the best places to watch sunsets in Curacao. The resort has amazing amenities which are signature features of the Sandals all-inclusive offering. There is an elevated infinity pool which has stunning views of Spanish Water and the rugged mountains of Curacao.
Rooms have calming garden and ocean views and feature designs with Curacao’s island warmth in mind. There are 351 welcoming accommodations in the form of rooms, suites, and bungalows. The amenities include hardwood floors, king-size beds, fully stocked wet bars and smart TVs. Sandals’ signature Butler Elite service, airport transfers and 24/7 room service are available for select suites.
