The Saint Lucia Jazz and Arts Festival is back for 2023. After a three-year hiatus because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the event will be returning to the Saint Lucia events calendar in May 2023. Earlier this year, tourism stakeholders in Saint Lucia shared the news of the return of the event at a media launch.
The launch, which was held at the Pigeon Island National Landmark, was attended by several tourism officials including Minister for Tourism, Investment, Creative Industries, Culture, and Information Hon. Dr. Ernest Hilaire. He explained that the festival is important to the country because it defines Saint Lucians, as well as the country.
Also in attendance was Chief Executive Officer of the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority, Lorraine Charles-St. Jules. She spoke with pride about the festival and how it successfully showcases the best of Saint Lucian culture and talent. Additionally, Mrs. Charles-St. Jules highlighted the economic benefits that will accrue from the festival.

The 2023 event, which will be the 30th edition of the festival, will be held from Friday, 05 May 2023 to Sunday, 14 May 2023. Six events have been planned with a variety of local, regional, and international stars. They are:
