For the first time, from December 2021, Royal Caribbean International will be home porting from Barbados. This new and exciting partnership will see the addition of Royal Caribbean cruises from Barbados to the company’s cruise portfolio. Travellers will have the opportunity to explore the southern Caribbean with three exciting cruise itineraries, which all depart Bridgetown, Barbados.
Michael Bayley, President and CEO of Royal Caribbean International, believes that Barbados’ “pink sand beaches and unexpected adventures” are desirable attributes for guests who want to experience even more of the Caribbean charm and culture before or after their cruise.” He also sees the venture as an opportunity to unlock “new memorable vacations to share with family and friends in breathtaking places”.
