The Caribbean Tourism Organization will be celebrating World Tourism Day with a virtual forum on 27 September 2023. This year’s theme, which was designated by the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) is “Investing in People, Planet and Prosperity. The theme aims to highlight the need for targeted investments to improve the Caribbean’s tourism industry.
This year’s event will feature several contributions from tourism stakeholders in the Caribbean. There will be remarks, panel discussions, and video showcases which will discuss Caribbean-focused challenges, opportunities, and strategies. Tourism destination professionals, enterprises, host communities, as well as individual tourism experts, students and diverse practitioners from tourism related and ancillary sectors should participate.
