The Caribbean Tourism Organisation (CTO) has expanded its membership with a new member. Bermuda has rejoined the organization as part of a valuable, collaborative agreement with the Bermuda government and the Bermuda Tourism Authority. This partnership will provide mutual benefits to Bermuda and the CTO as they navigate the global tourism market.

The CTO sees Bermuda’s membership as a step that will strengthen the organization. It will also allow the CTO to promote the depth of the Caribbean tourism product and thus explore new opportunities. CTO Chairman Kenneth Bryan, who is also the Minister of Tourism and Ports for the Cayman Islands, is pleased to welcome Bermuda back to the organization. He expressed his excitement for the opportunity to work with the Bermuda tourism team.

Vance Campbell J.P., Bermuda’s Minister of Tourism explained that regional collaboration is extremely important, especially now that the Caribbean is recovering from the COVID years. He also acknowledged the importance of sharing ideas and collaborating with similar countries, who are on the same path as Bermuda. He sees the island’s membership in the CTO as a plus for the island, which is building its sustainable tourism industry.

The Caribbean Tourism Organisation is the premier Caribbean tourism development agency. Its headquarters are located at Baobab Tower, Warrens, St. Michael, in Barbados.

Member countries are from the Dutch, English and French speaking Caribbean countries.
