I have been thinking about a weekend away in a Caribbean destination for the past few weeks. Sometimes it’s great idea to have a quick getaway to give your body and mind a mini relaxation boost. The affordability of the destination will determine whether or not you visit.
But if for some lucky reason, you come across travel deals to the Caribbean, take advantage of them. You are already saving on the airfare, so all you need now are nicely priced accommodation; tasty yet cheap food; and value for money activities.
Booking.comHere are some affordable Caribbean destinations for a weekend getaway (Prices are quoted in United States dollars):
1. Grenada
Located in the southern Caribbean, Grenada tops this list because it is one of my favourite islands to visit. Grand Anse is the area of choice because it has a gorgeous beach and it is close to the lively capital city of St. George’s.
